CYCLING THE SEAWALL
The Stanley Park Seawall must be one of the best urban cycle routes in the world. About 150 benches line the seawall. Several shops near the Georgia Street entrance to the park, a 10-minute walk from most downtown hotels, rent bicycles and tandems by the hour. The 10km long paved pathway follows the perimeter of the 400-hectare peninsular park. The right side of the pathway, which is mostly level, is set aside for cyclists. The trail runs counter-clockwise and begins at Lost Lagoon. Walk bikes along the underpass and right to the seawall. Allow about 2 Hours. |
